According to the restaurant manager where Sommers works he flew coach, and the restaurant paid for the trip.

Interesting. Is the Daily Mail usually unreliable?

They do tend to sensationalize a bit. They are often a print first ask questions later type of paper. Still for celeb gossip and focusing attention on UK nanny state issues they rock.

This is nitpicking. If the President of the US needs a pizza, he should have whatever kind of pizza he needs.

It's exactly the same here in the UK, ThetaRay. When Cameron got the leadership of the Tory party, with his first breath he began lecturing about the environment. And, just to prove the point, he flew to the Arctic to have a nice picture taken of him with some huskie dogs.

Green taxes seem a feasible agenda.

When you're the president of the United States, only the best pizza will do - even if that means flying a chef 860 miles.

Chris Sommers, 33, jetted into Washington from St Louis, Missouri, on Thursday with a suitcase of dough, cheese and pans to to prepare food for the Obamas and their staff.

He had apparently been handpicked after the President had tasted his pizzas on the campaign trail last autumn. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worl...ake-pizza.html
