Default Vice-Presidential Debates...
CHENEY:In respect to Israel and Palestine, Gwen, the suicide bombers, in part, were generated by Saddam Hussein, who paid $25,000 to the families of suicide bombers.

I personally think one of the reasons that we don‘t have as many suicide attacks today in Israel as we‘ve had in the past is because Saddam is no longer in business.

We‘ve been strong supporters of Israel. The president stepped forward and put in place a policy basically that said we will support the establishment of two states. First president ever to say we‘ll establish and support a Palestinian state nextdoor to Israelis.

But first, there has to be an interlocutor you can trust and deal with. And we won‘t have that, we don‘t have it now, in a Yasser Arafat. There has to be reform of the Palestinian system.

BTW Cheney thought he was 1337 when he touted factcheck.com.

If anyone bothered to check that they would have found a long posting by George Soros explaining why Bush is a disaster.

What Dick meant was factcheck.org. Sucks to be you duuude.

The part I liked most was when Cheney explained why the Medicare premiums, had gone up, based on new laws passed in the senate by Democrats. And I especially liked that right after that statement, he mentioned new laws in prescription benefits that just passed and the "neither you nor Senator Kerry even were there to vote on it".

PRICELESS. (The look on Edwards face)
I wonder how much of the hundreds of thousands of dollars of special medical treatment that Cheney rec'd so far is or would have been covered by insurance. Based on reality - about 19 cents on the dollar.

Not priceless, just close to zero.

I do not trust Edwards at all. I liked his response about Israel, but I don't think that he would be a strong supporter for Israel once he got into office. Kerry's support has been slipping among Jews, and both Kerry and Edwards are going to play the pro-Israel card until they get into office.

If Kerry and Edwards get into office, they will not have the backbone to stand up against the Arab cartel and international pressures to force Israel to make dangerous concessions. A Kerry win in November will be disastrous for Israel.

We all know that Bush has been the strongest supporter of Israel EVER! I don't care what Cheney says during a debate. It's what they do in real life that matters. We also know that Cheney has a strong influence on Bush, so I would have to assume that Bush's strong support of Israel had Cheney's blessing.

Past Democrat Presidents have forced Israel into agreements which have cost Israeli lives and have added to the misery. If we don't learn from history, we are bound to repeat it.
