We'd probably all be drinking "coke" instead of "soda" or "pop".

Nah there just would have been another Civil War at some time, and Texas would probably still be part of Mexico.

Hey there is a bright side to the south winning the war

Yeah, well, Speakeasy is on my side.
Damn Yankees!!!!!

In the words of Bocephus:

If the South would’ve won we'd a had it made,
I'd prob’ly run for President of the Southern State.
The day Elvis passed away would be our national holiday,
If the South would a won we'd had a it made.

I'd make my Supreme Court down in Texas,
And we wouldn't have no killers gettin’off free.
If they were proven guilty, then they would swing quickly,
Instead of writin’ books and smilin’ on T.V.

We'd all learn Cajun cookin in Louisiana,
And I'd put that capitol back in Alabama.
We'd put Florida on the right track ‘cause, we'd take Miami back,
And throw all them pushers in the slammer.

If the South would’ve won we'd a had it made,
I'd prob'bly run for President of the Southern States.
The day young Skynyrd died we’d show our Southern Pride,
If the South would a won we'd had a it made.

I'd have all the whiskey made in Tennessee,
And all the horses raised in those Kentucky hills.
The national treasury would be in Tupelo, Mississippi
And I'd put Hank William’s picture on one hundred dollar bills.

I'd have all the cars made in the Carolina's,
And I'd ban all the ones made in China.
I'd have every girl and child sent to Georgia to learn to smile,
And talk with that southern accent that drives me wild.

I'd have all the fiddles made in Virginia
Cause they sure can make'em sound so fine.
I'm goin up on Wolverton mountain and see ole Clifton Clowers,
And have a sip of his good ole Arkansas wine.

Hey, if the South woulda won we'd had it made
I'd prolly run for President of the Southern States,
When Patsy Cline passed away that would be our national holiday,
If the South woulda won we'd a had it made.

If the South woulda won we'd a had it made.

Might have been better off!

For soda!!!!!

Right on! Contrary to popular belief, the Civil War was actually started when southern states attempted to force the north to refer to all sodas as "coke". The notherners knew that 7-up was 7-up, Pepsi was Pepsi, and Coke was Coke! This photo is a re-enactment of the famous Battle of Mountain Dew Mountain (in Virginia), where many shaken cans of soda where opened in the faces of the opposing battalions. It was a sticky, eye stinging mess.

Charge!!!!!!

Ya know, Honda would be gone, Toyota, and etc (Which are Japanese, not Chinese car companies). One problem with banning cars though, Detroit is in the north and thats about where Henry Ford grew up. So, either the south would of had to build its own cars or buy from the yankees at crazy prices. Frankly, I think the South would't be able to afford not to buy from the japanese, but then again if the south and the north had split, I wonder if that would of had any effect on beating the japs in WWII. @_@ Bah, my head hurts, now look what ya did, ya made me think of all the ifs at once and the possibilities are endless (Like, forget WWII, how about how we would of done during WWI or before?
*shakes his head* Mostly, I think the North and the South would of continued to fight, to this day if they had made it that far, but more likely than not I gather it wouldn't have. The south didn't have a chance anyway, the north had the upper hand from the start.

It's sad... it is indeed sad...

All these southerners calling all the soda by the wrong name... They can't help it. They were born that way....
