Default United Airlines and Continental Airlines Sign for Merger Agreement.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Airlines

United Airlines and Continental, on Sunday, May 02, 2010, both signed the new agreement for a merger, which analyts say, will make and form the largest carrier in the world.

The airline merger allows United to retain its signature name.

United wil retain and display its name on the planes and terminals with the Continental logo in the background. Conitental's CEO, Jeffrey Smisek will eventually take over the helm within a planned 2 years from now. UAL chairman / CEO Glen Tilton will remain with the co, but in a slightly less commanding position of non-chairman.
