Default Monster Storm Cripples Eastern Seaboard & Snarls Holiday Travel for Many.
http://www.bostonherald.com

A monster hurricane-like snowstorm or nor'easter that swept accross lower Southern parts of the country from California, then swept up the Eastern Seaboard from Virginia to New England, has dumped mounds of snow, crippling cities and states, has snarled holiday travel for many and has made a mess of things everywhere!

Airlines have canceled thousands of flights, leaving holiday travelers stranded at airports. Some were even told that they might not be able to get out until after Christmas!

The storm has also caused 8 deaths. The airlines today, will begin the tedious task of getting planes to the airports to try to accommodate the stranded passengers and get them over to their destinations for the holidays.

Check out this picture from NASA. The storm was so big, it could be seen from space.

In the big downloadable image Manhattan can be seen more clearly, just as the storm's last clouds are passing over Brooklyn & Queens.

Any more like this, and it'll look like the film, The Day After Tomorrow!
