Do the cartoons have titles, or associated with news events?

The other message in the first one may be the choice presented by the cool, resourceful Bugs and the bumbling Elmer, magnified by their distorted relative size. Maybe The UK message to the US is that the choice is obvious.

I missed the tail and saw both rodents as mice propbably because of the mousehole. Maybe they're both rats. But I think the message is - "As one rodent to another, I'm not a threat, come on out." From Ahmadinejad's point of view, the very size of Obama is a threat.

The cat is a clear threat (remember candidate Clinton discussed a nuclear option against Iran), but why is the cat focused on Obama? Maybe that's why the little rodent is scratching his head.
