The NYTimes reports the story:

Andrew Wyeth, Famed and Infamous Artist, Dies at 91

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/17/ar...7wyeth.html?hp

They have dedicated an incredible 4 page obit. I'm rushing and can't post more than the link.

When I was a kid, my friend's dad had a print of "Christina’s World" in his livingroom. He absolutly adored it. He was a farm kid who moved to NJ to eke out a different kind of life. By night, he worked at the Pabst brewery, by day, he sent himself through law school. Once out, he quicky climbed the ropes to eventualy become the First Assistant Attorney General for New Jersey, then a United States Attorney. Then on to private practice. Too soon thereafter, he died of a heart attack at age 51.
A man who brought himself up by his own bootstraps, that was Mr Thomas Greelish.

For you, Mr Greelish.....
