I just voted about 15 mins ago! Everything went smooth. It wasn't too many people inside the gym, and most of all, it was quick and easy! Let's go Obama!

I did and it was a nightmare. I had never seen it that crowded.

Quick and easy. The district two blocks up from me had a 20 minute (estimate) line out the door.

And Corzine was on it.

In by 9:14, out by 9:39 -- a bit chaotic, made worse by the fact that it takes Sean Combs a bodyguard, a coffee carrier, a notebook carrier, half-a-dozen cameramen, and a sound guy just to vote.

BTW, please note that if you go into Starbucks and tell 'em you voted, you get a free cup of coffee.

In line at 5:55am - out at 6:35. Newbies at my sign-in table were completely clueless for some reason. It's going to be a long day for them.

As Ali noted, Starbucks was giving out free coffee to anyone who voted. So I my first Starbucks of the year.

I brought my five year old daughter to the polling station with me this morning on the way to taking her to school, amazing to me the interest she has had in following this election and the election process - I know that when I was a kid I had no idea what any of the elections were about, much less the mechanins of how are votes are counted.

I can't complain. Voting is a snap for me, right around the corner. A few things were different this year.

1. They'll no longer allow me to vote in a bathrobe and flip-flops.

2. There was a line this year. Actually two lines curving around the cul-de-sac. I stood between the two and shouted toward a staff worker, "Which is the Obama and which is the McCain line?" She rushed over and earnestly told me that I didn't have to say who I was voting for.

I got dressed up for this?

I wish I had my camera. Four dogs were leashed to a bike rack outside the building, and they sat there, intently staring through the window at their human friends voting inside.

It would have made a nice democracy-in-action photo.

Voted around 2 this afternoon. Whole process took less than 10 mins. Tonight will be historic, for Obama of course

Due to this morning's long lines I waited until 2:45 this afternoon. It ended up taking less than 10 minutes.

I wrote in a Ron Paul - Bruce Fein ticket.

I'll be drinking to an Obama presidency tonight -- maybe here...

Brookline went 81% for Obama.

By comparison Brooklyn 79%, Bronx 88%, (Cambridge the same @ 88%).
