What are you talking about?

What we have to do is not only send a moderate dem to the white house, but TELL THEM what we want.

If they do not give us what we want, we shift again, and again, and again until we get what we want.

Don't start bringing Pelosi into this as if she woudl weild supreme power or anything!

Ninja, the woman is dangerous and the idea of Charles rangel, who has never voted against a tax increase as chairmen of the ways and means committee is downright scary. This victory in 06 will cost us the white house in 2008 and will be stuck with McCain

Although little is said about them, the gubernatorial races taking place today and the possible net gain by Democrats may be a big influence on who the the Dems and GOP send into the 2008 election.

LOL

McCain will be too old in '08 to get the vote; he'll be 72 years old then -- 76 at end of term.

Nope -- RR was elected president at age 69 (oldest ever).

Within 6 years -- at age 75 and halfway into his second term -- he was basically a doddering fool (OK, sorry ... a victim of Alzheimer's).

Of course that was kept from the public at the time.

Lesson learned?

More likely, but it's really too soon to tell.

Who in '74 would have said Carter?

Who in '90 would have said Clinton was the one?

And who in '98 would have said Bush?

Lots of variables in the next year + before the field narrows ...

And then they all have the primary season to contend with.

Often the more obvious ones shoot themselves in the foot.

We need a paper trail.

And I need a job with Diebold. Amazing these techies get paid so much for so much crap!

Maybe the MPAA or RIAA should be in charge of making the machines! You know how "understanding" they are about people like "hackers"....
