http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...121402753.html

i can tell you that togus has NEVER made an appointment for me, and kept the same date. every stinking time they set a date and time, you can bet any amount of money, it will be changed.

I have never had an appointment changed nor have ever received sub-standard care at Togus VA Center.

http://www.pressherald.com/news/deat...010-12-14.html

Here is a better account.

James Popkowski grew increasingly depressed, and eventually made threats against the medical staff at the clinic where he was being treated Popkowski wrote a letter to Michaud in May 2006 expressing "dissatisfaction with the timeliness of obtaining prescription medication refills at the medical center Over the next four years, Popkowski was assigned at least four primary care physicians at three facilities, and became frustrated by what he perceived as inadequate care. Use of the words like threats, dissatisfaction and percieved show that it may not be necessarily Togus' fault.

they cut his disability from 100% to 0%. why? because they said he missed too many appointments. even the folks at mental health will tell they're always changing folks appointments.
my father is also seen there. and he gets letters (he doesn't have a phone) AFTER the appointment. he's had all kinds of problems with his meds.
heck, everytime i go there i have to tell them what meds i'm taking, etc. ever time, for years. they've even told me, that if i don't get my meds from them, the computer forgets.

LEO's are taught to keep shooting until the suspect goes down.

Do you have a link to the report or is this just conjecture?

Lots of Cops have been killed themselves for not shooting to kill. You never point your weapon at anyone or anything that you do not intend to kill.

Excellent! One of the Cardinal Rules.

The 1st Law of Gun Safety - The Gun Is Always Loaded!

The 2nd Law of Gun Safety - Never Point A Gun At Something You're Not Prepared To Destroy!

The 3rd Law of Gun Safety - Always Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Behind It!

The 4th Law of Gun Safety - Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target!
