FIFA boss Sepp Blatter said Monday gay soccer fans "should refrain from any sexual activities" when attending the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The president of soccer's international governing body was speaking at a press conference in South Africa arranged to discuss the legacy of this year's tournament. I just thought the headline itself was random and then I read the article...wow... |

He was asked what he would say to gay fans who want to go to Qatar for the 2022 competition, given that homosexuality is banned there.
"I would say they should refrain from any sexual activities," he said. He was asked the question...what else could he have answered? Maybe if he just said "All fans should follow the laws of the host country" it wouldn't have made a headline. Seems like a dumb article designed to sensationalize the guys sensible answer to a question that was designed to create a headline. |
