Well, from the story, it's clear that she gave him 6 months of her time. What more could anyone expect of a parent?

She could be in some legal difficulty. First, as the child's guardian, I doubt that she even tried to obtain the proper visas. and it all goes downhill from there

Her note shows some serious ignorance, though... There may be a change in nationality that accompanies adoption. And it's not that easy to get an adoption "disannulled" (whatever that means).
