The US did not arm Israel with nuclear weapons, and Saudi Arabia was the ace.

Didn't say they did. They armed them. They support them. And Saudi Arabia is only the prize. Israel is the watchdog.

Back to what I also said; do you believe that, were the ME completely devoid of oil reserves, that Israel would even be on the radar?
